We got 2 ducks from a friend. They couldnt tell us much so hoping someone on here can tell me. Are these muscovies? How old?

Yes they are Muskovies. 1 drake one hen. Maybe a couple months old.

I agree if the are the same age and their sizes are distinguishable like they look in the pic. Muscovy drake on the left - hen on the right. Most likely won't lay eggs until spring.

They usually start laying about 28 weeks of age. They sometimes will delay till the spring like Crazy Maizie said. I thought mine would delay and so of course they waited till the shortest day of the year. You are further south. So with your longer winter days, they may start to lay around 28 weeks.
