ok i have Muscovys one rouen one pekin and 3 baby ducks 8 baby chickens and 7 full grown chickens but they are all in the same coop and nothing has happened should i do something?
Hi We separated ours when they got older, one of our hens raised our ducklings, she totally lost her mind when she saw them whenI took them outside one day… and would not be separated from them without complete chicken melt down, so we let the Rhode Island Red raise them with supervision as they do have different needs… first time they got in the kiddie pool their adoptive mother had a near heart attack… poor hen was convinced they were drowning. But once they are older the males are too much for the hens, so then you need to seperate.
