Ducky Diaper?

I got the puppy pads.
Diaper will hopefully get here today.
Getting tired of cleaning up duck poo.
I might be wrong but the max ship date was two days ago.
I might just be wrong though...

I have been using a duck harness for 4 weeks now. Bob is 6 weeks old. I have used regular diapers cut up. The Goose's Mother recommended a size 5 diaper (I think). The piece they sent me to show how to cut it seemed very large to fit in the pouch and it stuck out all over which caused Bob to pull at it! I wound up cutting it smaller and it works great! I also have used thin, sanitary pads because they have adhesive backing. I can get 3 "inserts" out of the overnight, long pads. I didn't think of using puppy pads, but they would probably work too. I have found though that the harness does get wet on the outside even though it looks like there is only poo in the diaper.

The goose mother makes them.
The puppy pad has a "water" proof backing so it will probably not leak too much.
"Bob" is such a cute name for a duck!

My duck is 6 weeks as well!
They grow up so fast!

I was charmed by Bob's name. Some of my favorite people are named Bob, also.

Yes, that is the harness I have for Bob, who by the way, is actually a female! I sexed him/her right out of the egg, but I had already named the "egg" Bob, so it sort of stuck! It makes for interesting conversation since Bob is a she not a he and he (she) thinks she (he) is a human, not a duck! Too bad my health insurance doesn't cover QUACK THERAPY

It's fun having a imprinted duckling isn't it!
When I saw how you said "Bob" was a girl I couldn't stop laughing!
Bob is a funny name for a duck in the first place but it's even funnier for a she-duck!
You don't really think about it at first but when you do it's funny to think that your duck doesn't know what a duck is!
There for he would have to think he was a human!
If he saw a cat first when he hatched he would think he was a cat!
(Though my cat wouldn't make a very good mommy!)
I wonder what imprinted ducks think of other ducks when they first see them.
"Those are some funny looking little critters!"- probably!!!

I'm so exited!
I got it on him and it fits perfectly!
He was cool with it at first...
And then he relized there was a diaper on him!
He started freaking out a biting and pecking and quacking his little "Mommy help me!" quack!!!!
He hates it!
He was pouting and screaming!
But no matter how much he pouts I must power through it!
I can't take it of or he will think he wins I guess.
I am working on getting some good pictures!
Also how do I keep him from pecking the diaper out of the little pouch?
