Ok, so I have been incubating 6 duck eggs, cayuga and runner, and I saw the first pip today, on day 25.

I know this was too early. Will the duck have absorbed the yolk properly? Will the baby be strong enough to hatch?

The baby also pipped on the wrong end. Will he have difficulty hatching?

Finally, the air cell is a bit small for day 25, but it is slightly larger than the circle in the pic. Will the baby have too much humidity and drown?

I put the eggs on lockdown, raising humidity, lowering the temperature, and now I am praying for the best. I saw the other eggs rocking, and even herd one peep, so I am guessing they will pip soon. What can I do to ensure the best hatch rate?

After the first pip it can take over 24 hours to hatch. Your temperature might have been a little high. Ducks can hatch days 26-28 with 28 being the norm.
