Hi y’all! I’ve been very busy with my own flock of 3...built their coop, painted it, added a run, experimented with fermentation (yuck!) and playing Mamma. One @15 wks old crowed! It was either of the Leghorns, but it gets more cornfusing. I think it’s a 1/2breed Americana (Araucana, see the ears?) and its comb isn’t as big. He/she stands tall, lightly pecks the other Leghorn pullet, they rangle and puff up occasionally, no dancing. It goes to food first, demands petted. I named her Ms Boss... maybe Mr?
Spurs aren’t sticking out, it’s definitely largest of the 3. It’s not the least interested in the nesting boxes, of which the other two have gotten in. They are squatting now😄, ‘he’ isn’t.
City code doesn’t allow roos but I can’t tell by feathers yet. And I don’t have time or room for mo’ chicks:(
Here’s pics:
The Boss demands petted, lightly pecks sister on the left. (Her comb is big)
I’m cornfused🤷🏼‍♀️ Love y’all’s input👍 7FCBC1FF-5BE7-4351-8579-CFC28D540383.jpeg D6D3A315-C79B-4EAC-ADD2-74F42FE8C7D5.jpeg CCD14E91-4F24-43FD-9C5F-9DB5159D00A3.jpeg 9E7693FF-AFA3-4040-A96F-FAC478581541.jpeg

It's a pure breed Leghorn, those are normal ear feathers, and it's appearing to be a POL female. Pics of all three? If the next looks like the small-combed sister, then I might say it's a weird developing male.
