And boy, I feel you on that wait. I'm on day five and keep peeking in the incubator as if something is suddenly going to happen. It's so hard to stay patient--I can't even candle until the day after tomorrow!
Hi,
The eighth is my hatch date andddddddd my first hatch.
Sure like to chat.it is going to be a long three or so days.
What are you hatching?????????
Tanya
Good luck all you first timers! Remember....DON'T OPEN THE INCUBATOR FOR 5 DAYS! (From day 18 until about day 22 or 23 or until all the chicks are hatched) You need to keep the humidity in there....
I've got some blue silkies due to hatch on the 9th. It's not my first hatch though, and it's not the broodys' first hatch either. It looks like 7, maybe 8/10 are good
Our date is the 8th and I'm going nuts....thought I saw an egg moving but it may have been my eyes wanting it to move.....I am so obsessed with these eggs it's crazy...up at night thinking about them...crossing my fingers and toes!!! Good luck to you too!!
day 19 today and even though I know I followed directions to the T.........I am telling myself something is wrong. Sure wish I would hear or see something move................could not candle much..a few mixes from my BO's and Americana"s......but my BlCM's are very dark , couldn't see a thing GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
Going to wear myself out..............I read in another post htat Moran's are sometimes a little slower hatching?
Was up way to many times last night checking temp and humidity.........
