Well i had a chick that could not get the egg shell off so i helped him a lil bit and he poped right out! But he had some stuff stuk on his belly and it fell of. He is down in the bator and he ceeps curping! Is he ok?!

HI,
Still not a thing.thought I had a crack and discovered it was a small black hair.
I have mostly Marans eggs that I could not candle.
This is tough.......so afraid I have messed up.........
congratulations to all that are being successful.
I might have different news later..
I'm going to go in and talk to them
May be play a little upbeat music for them.

Don't get down, I have heard they can take a little longer? My welsumer eggs where and are still hatching they were last to start. They have dark eggs too, so I never really could see in there.

So far 7 chicks, and 3 more trying to zip. (But they have been trying all day and if they look the same in the AM I will help them out!)
BBS Ameraucanas (6 so far are all blue) and BC Marans (only one so far..)

lol we have a nice camra and the chicks were kinda sleepy and the wanted to see what in the world i was going to do to them with that big black shiny thing. lol thanks. Hope you have more babies soon!

I am incubating 12 Rhode Island Red eggs and I am on day 7! I am new to chickens and this is my first try at incubating eggs. I have two 9 day old chicks that were given to me too. They are very nice company.

I think I am going to go candle now!
