I have incubated before several times and have had no problems.. i was wondering if anyone had any advise...there is no pipping yet..but i heard heartbeats with a stetascope, and advise I am leaving the eggs alone and air flow on temps good. what else?

You can really hear heartbeats with a stethescope? I never thought of that.

Sounds to me like you're doing ok. They can take longer to pip if your temps were low at all. That much I know. I would just leave them completely alone till day 23. Then it's ok to start worrying. LOL

I know it's kinda cool to hear the little hearts...I was taking my DH's blood pressure one eve and I had been worrying about the eggs and I thought why not try.. I have no idea why I never thought if it before...thanks for reassuring me...i have never had this much trouble, Dh says that maybe the mama hens are getting a little old and we may want to use younger eggs next time... thanks again..
