My welsh harlequin has been laying a clutch for almost 3 weeks. I'm not sure how many eggs are in the nest (quite a few chicken eggs have gone in too. Ugh!). 2 nights ago she started to sit at night rather than go in the duck house. She decided our brush pile was the best place for her best. So does the 28 day countdown start from 2 days ago when she started sitting at night? We've had ducks for a few years but this is the first broody hen we've had.
