If these are the eggs you got from me at chickenstock they are not bob whites they are jumbo browns and golden and from me the crazy things like to hold out until day 21 just to drive me mad lol don't give up
If 28 where dark that is good just give them time

We have your jumbo browns but we also have bobwhite eggs, so two types of quail. Your correct they like to take thru sweet time coming out as we had one hatch this morning/afternoon!!!

So now I have two Jumbo Brown out and two Bobwhite out. We had to help one of the bobwhties out this morning, it had been in it's shell in the same hole sense about 6 last night. Now I know your not suppose to assist in the hatching but this little poor dude when we got him out was all dried out (no bleed, yoke and the cord was gone). He's up and wobbling around so I'm hoping he's good.

I had a strange quail hatch for my first time. One hatched out in the turner, before they were even due. So I put them in the hatcher, and in three days nothing. I waited one more day, then opened them up. I came to a couple that were still alive and immature. After the 4th one I put them all back and had 6 more hatch out about 3 days after that. I read on here they hatch at random times for some reason. I am still at a loss for how one got so far ahead of the game, must have come to me somewhat formed is all I can figure out. I mean, it was at least 6 days ahead of the others. Go figure. Don't give up yet!
