seems either USPS or PO messed it up badly. I had similar situation just two weeks ago if you read my story, majority of eggs ended up not even developed, only a few survived and developed, and then only one hatched with help.

I wish there were some special transit service just for egg or live animal shipping, so they have specially designed vehicles with air conditioning, and trained staff. In reality we just have to bear with the occasional bad handling of shipping. For my next hatch if I do it again, I actually might consider Fedex express. Compare to 18+ days of waiting and anticipation, the extra 20 some bucks of shipping fee is worth it.

Good luck with the chicken eggs though.

And wish you best of luck for your next hatch.

Here you go making me hungry again!!! I have 42 quail eggs due tomorrow and 45 more due saturday. Some I see pippin now. These came from Wilds of pa. and steelshot Thanks!! I have 22 Turkeys due Saturday 36 pheasants so I will have a very busy weekend. Then shelly's eggs have two weeks to go!!! Good luck to you!!! Brad

Oh no!! That's terrible! I've not had any problems shipping with usps (

<---me knocking on wood), but I'm sure that's what has happened. But I mark my boxes on 5 sides as 'eggs' 'fragile' 'avoid heat' and all that, so idk if that helps any.

What colors were you wanting? Just browns, or whatever? I'm booked up until the 10th, but I could squeeze you in after that if you'd like some? I also saw that Mrs. AK had some listed in the other poultry BST section, she is very close to you? Hers I believe are jumbo browns and goldens.

So sorry that they didn't do anything for you, that's always a bummer. But if it was the whole shipment, I would say it was something the p.o. did to them.

Niki had the box uber labeled, complete with a quail drawing.

Mrs Ak is in alaska, should be about the same distance as niki's place I'd say.

It wasn't so much the color, Evan wanted them for singing, he likes the crowing, so we were going to keep some males so he could hear them.

Holy moly

So I went to clean out the bator this AM, and I have 3 birds pipping, maybe the 97 lows delayed them a bunch, all the eggs I checked were scrambled, but it looks like a few survived the PO (wonder if they juggle too?).

Mr Saddi has declared a 30 day incubation for everything now, we cook them till they're done, the bator stinks or they hatch. He also told me to pick out "one of those fancy ones that work like a crockpot, put eggs in, take birds out and don't touch it inbetween".

No wonder we've been married so long.
