Ok, so I've read where other people have problems with their chickens eating pellets, wasting the pellets, all kinds of things. I feed mine organic layers pellets. They scatter them everywhere. There are tons in the sand in the run, tons in the feed pan under their hanging feeder, it's so frustrating. I'm often wondering if they're even eating any of them. The past couple of days I haven't refilled the hanging feeder so they'll eat what's already in that feed pan and on the ground. Will they eat it? I don't feed a lot of treats. Once a day they get a little bit of scrambled eggs, yogurt, greens, something like that. That's about it, and we're talking a very small amount too. I'm just tired of the mess being made with the pellets and hoping I'm not starving them unintentionally. Comments, suggestions?
