If at all possible, support your locally owned grain store. If they're a bit higher, it'll be by 50¢, I have no problem paying a bit higher to help keep them in business.

I agree- even though Blue Seal is a franchise I still prefer giving my business to them over a mega- multi-national conglomerate.
To further that look for stuff made in the US- couple of reasons obviously to keep Americans employed and the other with all the "contamination" of products made in China I don't trust stuff coming from there.
