Ok I am incubating for the first time with a Farm Innovators 4200 forced air. Eggs just went in the bator and I know not to use the crappy thermometer it came with, couldn't even calibrate it very well so I ordered a glass Brinsea and also one of the spot check digitals and got a water wiggly for it. The spot check is egg level on the rack in the wiggly and so is the glass one.
My question since both my brinseas are supposed to be fairly accurate but the digitial in the wiggly reads about 97.7 once stable with the glass one reading about 99.7-8, which thermometer do I go by(I have heard to stick with the glass one) and do eggs in in a bator at say 99.5 ever actually get that hot inside??? Its been reading 97.7 (water wiggly with digital) for 6 six hours and is not moving! So ambient temp or internal is more important?
