Just wondering if it matters if when you turn the eggs, you turn them end over end in addition to the 45 degree? This wouldn't disorient them and cause them to be at the small end of the shell?

I had 36 eggs in this last time and there wasn't room to roll them over. I had to actually pick each one up and found it was easier and quicker if I flipped them end over end instead of "rolling" it in my hand.

Ok, I couldn't figure out what the "in addition to the 45 degrees" means. Do you have them in a carton or something? If you do you can just tilt it from one side to the other 3 times a day. Otherwise they should be laying on their sides and you just roll them over onto the other side (not the end).

They are on their sides but when I pick up an egg to turn it from the "O" to the "X" side, I flip it end over end in the process. I had a lot hatching out the last time on the small ennd and just wondered if this could have contributed.
