I hear y'all talking about grit for chickens. Mine have a run with plenty of dirt. Is that the grit??

If there are little rocks in the dirt that will work as grit. If you're not feeding seeds (or other things that need to be ground open) they don't even have to have it.

Grit is good to have it helps your chickens grind up their food and they waste less food they also get more of the nourishment from what ever
they eat.
