I'm soooo confused!! A second chick just hatched & looks just the same as the first. I have 4 more pips & 2 haven't done anything yet.

Here's my white one, 15 days old. Its down is still the same color as when it hatched, a light yellow.

Your white is a light yellow. The chick in question has buff down.

my buff that hatched yesterday.

In a few days, the wing feathers will begin to grow in, you'll know for sure as soon as they do.

Wait till the wings grow... sometimes the down feather is the colour that will be masked by the white gene... just like blue bred white sometimes hatches with a bit greyish down...

I'm sorry you didn't get white. I do love the buffs though!!!
