I think the dumbest thing anyone has said to me was when discussing processing the chickens to eat.

(unnamed relative): "You EAT your chickens?!?"
(me): "Of course."
(unnamed relative): "What do they taste like?"

LOL to be fair they probably meant compared to store bought chicken (and I've heard it's very different) but still, that's pretty bad... hahaha

Not really dumb considering urban/backyard chicken keeping is fairly new, most people in cities only have a few, and most people don't know someone who owns chickens, but every time I tell someone I have chickens, especially 8 of them, they always assume I live on a farm LOL
