He still has a hard time believing that we eat cows, however.  He says that cows are too fast and would run away if you were trying to kill them.  We're gong to have to work on this.

In all honesty, I was going to try to get a much better picture of this chicken's butt...but then she SQUATTED FOR ME!

For sure. In many ways, I reckon kids make the best little scientists. They see and describe what's before them in simple words without nearly as much of a bias as adults and they seem to get from A to B in logic without nearly as convoluted a pathway.
