Me: The chicks are unsexed
Other: Do you have hens?
My thought: Most likely

Me: You can see the babies move when you candle the eggs!
Other: Can I buy the eggs to eat?
My thought: Oh no you didn't try to eat my babies! ...I hope the intention was to ask for other eggs without developing embryos, and not the eggs in discussion. That's just not polite in my book! lol

I get sick from my chicken feed handling, not from eating my chickens eggs or meat lol.

Since I handle the grains I can't handle, it makes me sick. Which is why I need to switch to gluten-free feed soon, so I can keep having chickens. And bunnies. And maybe getting ducks soon. Lol

My 8-9 week old slw started crowing yesterday at 5am. Yikes! Caponizing equipment isn't here yet and I'm very urban, my neighbors will not put up with 10 roosters on my property having a crowing contest.

It looks like I better get my scalder ready. Wtd with such tiny dang roosters?

I would like to make this at home. Can you tell me where I can get seeds or plants to grow the items italicized?

I'd rather eat dirt. - Sammy, Steel Magnolias

I've been eating at a country cafe that specializes in grass fed beef, non GMO veggies, etc. The waitresses wear T-shirts that say, "I want to grow all my own food, but I can't find bacon seeds".

I love it! What a great shirt.
Also yummy, that sounds like a great restaurant... A couple cafés here by my produce when I have extra... Love the eat local or natural restaurants.

They do actually sell bacon seed... and planting it isn't that difficult either, apparently. Timing is important though, and you need something resembling a turkey baster.
