I've only seen pictures of the styrofoam cartons. They look really weird. Quail eggs are sold in plastic cartons, but apart from that, we only have the cardboard ones in use.

Chocolate covered marshmallow Easter eggs, not to be confused with Easter Egger chickens, come in styrofoam cartons. I just happened to have some cartons here that can't go in recycling.

Oh, come on, get with the times. Styrofoam cartons???? That's not envirofriendly. The spontaneous generated eggs happen in a cardboard carton which also magically morphs into a carton from recycled paper products at the same time.

The carton doesn't magically morph; what they do is feed the used paper to the chickens and the chickens recycle it into cartons.

Doesn't anyone know *anything* about farming these days?

No - they 3D print the chickens, and then feed them used paper so they lay eggs neatly packaged in recycled paper cartons.

Where did you live in those days? I never saw anything but vinegaroons in eastern and central Washington.

Southern Utah moved north when i was a teenager.

Sorry for the late reply we had another big wind storm and lost power for 5 days. The second big storm to take out the power for a week in the last 3 weeks. I still haven't read all the missed posts from the first outage.
