You could point out that if they like honey, it's basically bee vomit.
Bee vomit, blood spots, egg shell abortion, death by not breathing, starvation by yoga.......Love it.........I always have loved this thread.....Real humor comes upon us unexpectedly just when we expect one of the malice spreaders to start ranting. Thanks SizzleQueen and AmyPaperlady........Actually I like the malice spreaders too...Glenn Beck, Ed Schultz, TV Preachers....They are all good for a laugh....Admittedly, it doesn't take much to make me laugh on a cold January day.

With all the depressing news stories thrown at us 24/7, you've got to get your laughs wherever you can find them. Keep smiling!

Friend staying over making eggs: "Why is there a little red dot in this egg?"

Me: "It's bees fertilized. "

Friend: "So.. this is a baby?"

Me: "No, it's just a fertilized egg."

Friend: "You're pretty much doing a abortion at this point."

Me: "No... not ho-"

Friend: "YOU'RE EATING A FRIED CHICKEN SPERM."

Me: "You win."

Um, maybe I'm wrong, but I thought a white bullseye meant an egg was fertile and the little red spots are blood or meat spots. I get them on a few of the eggs we get every once in awhile and I don't have a rooster. Oh, NO! Have I become one of the folks who thinks dumb things about chickens and eggs?

The Bullseye is better described as a doughnut but you are correct. The blood and meat spots are pieces of the reproductive tract that get picked up and moved into the egg.

I liked it and we can always learn--there is so much to learn about chickens.

I didn't know chickens can learn over 100 faces, I like to put that in front of people when they tell me chickens are dumb and don't have good memory.
