Dumbest Things People Have Said About Your Chickens/Eggs/Meat

A vistor having coffee at our home, looking out the dining-room window, observed 6 of our hens having a mass-dustbathing session.
She got a disturbed look on her face and uttered the following:
"OMG!!! ARE THEY SICK???? DO THEY HAVE RABIES OR SOMETHING????"

I politely engaged her.... "Nope....." I said, then asked "How do you think they make eggs to lay?????"

Mrs. promptly kicked my shin under the table............

I didn't know chickens did that until researching about raising chickens here, but it didn't surprise me one bit because I knew dogs took baths like that in grass and dirt and thought, well if one kind of animal does that why not others?

Ugh, the worst kid I've ever seen was some kid wearing a spider man costume and Hulk hands. It was at a hog roast/petting zoo(that's me) deal, and he kept trying to open the roasters (dang it, can't think what they are called right now) then he almost burnt his hand when he touched it. His dad came high two years running, so I wonder if that is why his kid was so messed up? Then he kept telling my friend that "You look like my student, or, my daughter, I'm not sure..." Then he picked up my goat, Lars and said, "I...I...I just want to hug it, I want to hug this goat, can I hug...can I hug this goat?" I said, "No, you can not hug my goat. You can walk out that door right now and not come back, and take your kid too." The worst part is, I don't even think that was his kid, he just followed him everywhere....Creeeepy!
CREEPY!!

My grandma's best friends grandaughter decided that she was going to help me with the petting zoo too (didn't ask, but she's cute). So some guy came in and asked her if the RIR she was holding was hers, she said, "No, but I've always been fascinated with chickens." She was terrified when she first came in, but learned fast. I was CRACKING UP! She's a cutie though.

Hey, you worked at the birthing center!?! My grandpa used to work for Purina so he had a stand at the state fair every year, and we had to walk through the birthing center. Truthfully, it made me sad to see all the people watching. Especially the little kids running and screaming and such. Although, it was always worth it when somebody puked...

City slickers...You might call us red necks (Dear People of Rural Chase County, stop acting like redneck hillbillies and people will stop assuming that we are) but at least we can hold our funnel cakes and nitrogen ice cream!
I was sick after one birth but that was my first (and hopefully last time) I had to help pull a dead calf from it's mother, my uncle didn't have a puller so 3-4 of us where pulling on the mother or calf until it came out, after all was said and done and the calf was loaded into the truck to be buried elsewhere I almost lost my lunch due to the thought of what just occurred, and that does not happen to me often

Pssht, try 25!

Not to rain on your pity party or anything, but I have pantyhose older than either one of you. Boy, if you think you hurt now, are you ever in for a treat down the road!! This is just a sneak preview. hahahahahaha! As Bette Davis (who?) said, "Growing old ain't for sissies!"

I know who Bette Davis is, but only just. ;) Now Betty Davis the 60's and 70's rock band singer not so much but I never cared for 60's and 70's music.

Wha, 60s rock! What about the Rolling Stones and the Beatles, what about Tina Turner? Come on, this is coming from a 12 year-old!

I will admit that I had my Beatles phase, but I really did not get in to music until I was 16 or so. And the clew to my age is that Bette Davis died when I was 9. ;)
