Does anyone recommend this feed for baby quail??? It's 24% protein

It's what I've been using, and I haven't had any problems with it.

Me too, when I can find it. They don't always have it so I alternate between that, the 28% turkey starter, and 20% chicken feed. Only difference I notice is the higher protein, the more eggs and the bigger they are.

I like it for the protein % and the fact that is a finer grumble than turky starter.
makes it much easier to sift for the babys.
the only thing I dont care for is the smaller particles make me sneeze what little brains I have left, out.

Yes,I think this is a very good kind of feed.I like it because it has a better protein,and is also good for show chickens.And laying percent is more,Sandra

The breeder that I got my buttons from, he starts his off on it right off the bat, no crushing, no sifting. Granted, he has coturnix chicks in with the button chicks, so the coturnix will eat the larger pieces, meaning less waste.
