Just to let you know, silkies are the easiest breed to keep. They dont fly so all you need is a pen that is about 3 feet high and thats it! I have 24 little silkie chicks that should be excellent quality. Your trio is going to turn into dozens of silkies, just watch!

Oohh and my book had everything known to man about chickens, except what you should feed them! ughh Okay........tell me if this sounds good! I will feed my hens 50lb of dumor 20% with a pound of wheat, corn, alfalfa, kelp and a 1/2lb of flax seed. Am I adding to much? I think I am lol Im going to post another thread as to what I should add to my feed in pounds. I dont understand all these percentages hahahaha Im going to ask everyone what they feed and I will combine everyones recipes into one.

It figures right it has all but what you really need. I would do exactly what you said about reposting. I'm not too sure on percentages I give them my own little mix and don't do any measurements except for the wormguard plus thing. Good luck I hope you get your answers.
