Dumor layer and starter crumbles OATS AND WHEAT

I started my chickens and chicks on Dumor layer pellets, and crumbles.

Is this a good brand of food? Usually I use Agway brand layer pellets, and Purina Sunfresh chick starter.

The layer pellets are darker, and smell more sweet.

I have used Dumor quite a bit (from TSC) but have switched to FRM (only because a new local feed store has opened up...saving me gas $$$). I was't dissatisfied with Dumor.....

I've used it before..didn't have any problems...it was just too far to drive all the time with gas prics so I switched to Purina that my local feedstore keeps in stock....

Also,

what does whole oats look like, and whole wheat? My local feed mill sells it, and I cant remember which I bought last.

I want the grain that is round, and has an indentation down the middle, not the sharp pointy grain.
