People will never learn.. found these three beauties at my local park, they just showed up today freshly dumped off. I'll be trying to go catch them tonight. Seem to be female so they probably won't make it through the night as there are about a dozen sex deprived male ducks that all stack on any female usually until she is dead. Hopefully I'll be able to catch them tonight and bring them into the spca tomorrow

Your wonderful to care and try to save them @SolarDuck are they Muscovy?

They are 2 Cayuga and 1 magpie all female, just went out with the help of my brother and dad. I ended up having to chase after them and swim across the entire pond but managed to get them to come up right where I wanted and push them back into a field away from the water. Can gladly say all 3 are now safe in my coop for the night and I'll bring them to the spca tomorrow

That's awesome your a hero.
We've missed you!
Thank you! Yeah sorry I haven't been on the forum too much lately still watching over the ducks just been spending a lot of time on school. Also I thought they were all girls because no tail feathers and the ones I did hear quacked, just went out to check on them and the Cayugas quack but seems the magpie is actually a boy definitely not quacking.

2 females and 1 drake is a nice start up flock. Is it legal to have this breed in Fla. I was thinking only Pekins were allowed as domestic ducks
All breeds of domestic ducks are allowed if they are fully enclosed in a run, but you need a free permit for flying mallards as they breed with the Florida native mottled ducks. Actually, my mom saw me post them on my Instagram story and she is showing some interest so they might be joining the family. I told her if she is serious about it she is going to need to build a fully enclosed run, and I also said since one is a boy and it's only a 1/2 ratio she would probably need to get a few more girls. Do you think they would be fine just 2/1 like this? It is very clear they were all raised and dumped together.
