Dumpster Diving coop with pics.

At this point I have no cost in our coop. Hope it moves someone to make the big dive dumpster diving that is, Lol, save money use the stuff other discard. Even the three Chicks were a gift.

Looking good. I am working on a small coop also. I found three wonderful large pallets at a lawn mower store and picked up some lumber strapping pieces at Lowe's for free.

Your coop is looking good! It's awesome to recycle materials and the free part is great!

We are currently working on our coop. We did buy most of the material for the base of it, but it will be mostly free for the rest. My hubby has been loading up his trailer with pallets and pieces of wood after work everyday. Those interested can check Freecycle for places giving away pallets. Air conditioning companies have the best pallets, it seems. They have to be sturdy and made of good wood to hold the units.

I am thinking of starting a thread about my building of this coop. I have limited strength and carpentry skills, so it might be encouraging to some women especially. I have been taking photos as I go.
