Ope, Guess I'm here now. I co-GM and play a custom game with a few pals every saturday right now. 5E for us, but I've played 3 and 3.5 heavily. I've also done an inordinate amount of Shadowrun and a few other games.
I'm the opposite of a dice goblin. I do paint minis sometimes, though.

Roll20 is a godsend in times like this.

I'm not a dice goblin but I want to be. LOOK at these magical creations:

These are both by a dice maker called Dicey Dungeons. Unfortunately, their store is down :hit I enjoy making custom minis on hero forge, but they are too expensive for me to buy a lot of and if I wanted to paint them I'd have to get all new paint stuff.

I play homebrew 5e, but have dabbled in some other editions, mostly 3. I have 3 campaigns running right now, one with a group at school (i actually almost died in that last time i played) one with a friend (learned that druids have some frickin cool magic) and one with a friend (our characters are both so OP it's ridiculous)

Those are some really nice dice! I'm actually looking into casting my own dice right now. I plan on setting animal bones and dried flowers in them. :)
Whoa, that's so cool! I love the ideaaaaaaaaaaaaa of casting my own dice, but in practice I think that I'd get frustrated and not actually enjoy it. Animal bones and dried flowers would be so cool! I'd love to see pictures if you end up making any!

By definition I am original school. Cut my teeth on D&D in late '78-'80 with my younger brother and a few neighborhood friends in late elementary school years. The along came AD&D. We moved west and started to get to play with my uncle and his friends from work when I was ~13/14? That was my 1st "rolled up soldier" for a minimum 4th level game that they had started a few weeks earlier.
Have played a few other oddballs like Elfquest rpg. I believe I still have the original box for both rpgs in storage.

While in college I did play a bunch of wild campaigns. Lost a few characters. Life goes on. Never did the mini's or models. My friends did. I mearly did the 2D free hand drawn characteratues(sp?).

Cheers
