I have a hefty Cochin hen who has the sneezes, coughing, and wheezing, and bubbles in her eye :'( . She is otherwise in healthy good spirits. I can not find how to convert the dose to a 1qt water amount. I want to try and save her. I have looked for the dosing amount online and in this forum but can not find it. Please help, I am really worried about her

Let's do a little math. What are the dosing requirements? How much med to how much water? Or are they doing Xmg/Ylb of body weight? (I hate it when they do that. Trying to weigh a chicken is the pits!)

Well, the math says that to create a quart of this med at the maximum directed dose you would need 0.007 oz. of the powder. How you figure out the quantity that 0.007 ounces is... I have no idea.

The dosage is 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. Simply make a gallon of the mixture and draw 1 quart from the mixture. Put the rest in the fridge for the next day, then the next day etc...
