I did lockdown 14 bantam eggs on Monday night, and I have pip 7 eggs out of 14 today!
One thing I worry about is, I set them on egg carton, pointed side down. Looks like bantam eggs are too small for this standard size egg carton. It is ok?
Once I was thinking about putting them down on floor without egg carton, but wanted to try egg carton hatching.

One more question, humidity is 60% now, it is too low? It was ok until late last night, but all of a sudden this morning, it became 60%.
I used syringe and added more water in the water well, but humidity is not going up.
I don't want to open the bator, so just watching them closely now.
Any advice?
Thanks!

Egg carton hatching for bantams works just fine. I do this method occasionally with shipped eggs. I use the styrofoam (sp?) as I don't want the cardboard to soak up any of their moisture.

Don't open the bator. Just syringe in more water and everything should be okie dokie
