I put my 4 weeks olds out in the tractor with a heat lamp for nighttime comfort. That lasted 2 days before I noticed the $50 (or more) heavy duty 100 ft extension cord was chewed to shreds down to the copper wire. I suspect rabbits.
No question; just a caution and a little bitty vent.
The little ones have been fine without the extra heat.

How high can rabbits jump? Maybe suspend the next cord. silly wabbits.

You didn't pose a question but I have a solution for you. There is a product, it's sold at home depot and other such stores, that is a black flexible conduit, it has a ribbed look to it. It has a slit down the length of it that you force the cord into. I think you can buy it in any length. This product (although I'm not sure exactly what it is called) is the product we used to recommend to people who wanted to keep house rabbits, back when we were breeding rabbits. It prevents wire chewing, isn't expensive, and is very flexible so it lays just like a cord would, no issues with straight conduits. It really works quite well, we have used it ourselves on wires we didn't want rabbit chewed.

ETA: Also, rabbits are not rodents, it is a common mistake. A rabbit is actually a lagomorph, not a rodent.
