Durvet Strike III poultry wormer feed, thoughts? Opinions?

I am curious about this product and intrigued especially because there is supposedly no egg toss...anyone used it before?

I believe it was developed to be used constantly in a commercial setting.
I do remember reading someone figuring out a dosage for the active ingredient Hygromycin B to use as a treatment when deworming was an indicated necessity. Hygromycin B is approved by USDA for no egg withdrawal.

Okay so I just polished it off about a week ago. The way I did it was a tablespoon ( included in the bag) sprinkled in with about a pound of feed. I have 2 feeders that hold about a pound each, so I put it in there. As far as I know, they ate it....hopefully any baddies were passed out...and I'm still here and feeling fine so I guess the eggs must have been fine too.

I recently noticed white segments in my one of my hens poop. I took a pic and showed it to the folks at the local feed store. They recommended Durvet Strike III. Here is the pic I shared with them. I still am not sure what type of worm my hen has. I believe tapeworms are flat in appearance and these appear round. The Durvet treats for roundworm, cecal worm and capillary worms. Hope what my hen has is one of those (short of taking a sample to the vet for verification). I have had a good portion of my hen flock for almost 3 years and have never had a problem with worms and never treated them before. However, I have started letting the hens free range. I understand that they eat just about anything, including perhaps any of the neighborhood cat feces that has made it into my yard. I plan on starting the treatment today. Even though it may be safe to eat the eggs, I am going to wait for about a week after treatment just to be safe. The Durvet was $16.79 for a 1lb bag, which calls for 1 level scoop (approx 9 grams per 1 pound of feed). I'll keep you posted on my success (or lack thereof).
