Dust bath tip: Use an old tire!

I set this up for my girls today. I used an old tire and filled it with a bottom layer of sod, then a mix of soil and wood ash. They seem to be loving it already, and i'm hoping it might cut down a little on the chicken craters in their yard.

Now they have a whole jungle gym/spa! lol

Anyone else done anything similiar?

Mine are free range so dust bath anywhere that isn't too grassy. Chicken craters are everywhere!
