Dust bath

I’m just getting the dust bath ready for the chickens, is it ok to have it inside the coop, I don’t have a cover to keep in dry in the run.

Make a cover.
The amount of dust they toss around and shake off after a bath is extreme. You will already have a dusty coop. Putting the dust bath in there too will make the air quality horrible.

We have the dust box in the coop, but our coop is a ChickShaw with an open bottom designed be Justin Rhodes.
