dusting options

what procedure does the majority use for dusting for critters on their chix?

I've heard of using a kinda powder puff made from a sock filled with powder.....

I use DE so I just take some in my hand and pat them down until I have gotten all spots. It works down in very easily. Of course, this may not be so easy with harder to handle birds. Mine don't mind though. I imagine as time goes on though I will switch to a better method. I too am interested to see what others do

I sprinkle De into their favorite dust bathing areas. They dust bathe every day, so I will probably sprinkle it every two weeks or so, as the area stays pretty dry.
