Dusting with DE?

I found my DE at a local feed store! If you have a store that mixes their own feed and grains chances are they might also have DE. It is also sold at stores that carry Permaguard products. Sometimes stores that sell that brand can order it for you. The shipping from ordering it online is insane!

I just got my DE and so far I've sprinkled it in the coop and run, and lightly dusted the birds with it because they've been itching a lot. The day after I dusted everything with it, we only had like 4 flies instead of thousands!!

Remember that DE can be food grade and NOT food grade. You always want to verify that it truly is food grade when you use it around animals. It will be printed on the bag.. look for it.

I use it on my animals, on/in their bedding, on their roosts and even occasionally in their food.
