Dutch bantums

I have a small group of Dutch bantams, they currently have a coop and large run, I would love to let them free range like my Silkies, however every time I have tried to let them out they disappear off to the neighbours or the church yard behind our house. I just wondered if anyone had managed to let them free range and if so any tips? Or does everyone have them enclosed. They don’t fly off just jump out everywhere. Thanks

yeah I have mine enclosed. They can fly up to 1.2 meters high but I think they would struggle with 1.8meters but probably with a decent enough run (my run is not that big) one might be able to clear it, I've not let them try long enough.
The minimum run height should be 2 feet and 3 feet is ideal, any higher is for your own convenience.
