I see differing opinions about Dutch Hookbill colors. Some sources say all colors are extinct except for dusky, white and bibbed. Others mention lots of other colors. What is the scoop? Also, Question about dusky Hookbills: Our surprise hookbill (?) that just hatched along with our expected Welsh Harlequins is very dark colored and has jet black feet. It has a bit lighter belly, but still dark. He is basically black with a bit of an olive sheen, and totally black feet and bill. What color can we expect? Do the feet change color? All the duskies I am seeing in pictures have yellow feet.

I have never heard about Mallard patterned Dutch Hookbill ducks... but solid coloured ones exist : I know of a person selling them in France - entirely Black, Blue, and Brown ducks... (and White, of course!)

Dark Dusky coloured ducks are born entirely black.
