BeautifulI know I'm late to the party but I'm too much of a sucker for hook bills not to post. I have only four but I'd love to get more: two mallard type females, their mother the light brown Aleutian?, and a snowy drake who is the sweetest drake known to humanity.View attachment 3421004View attachment 3421006View attachment 3421009

Thank you! Not currently but I'm hoping to in the future! I'm working on acquiring a couple more quackers and altering my set up a bit. Do you? I just love them. They're such polite ducks.Wow! They are so pretty!!! Do you breed hookbills?
Do any of your hookbills have totally black feet? Or did they at hatching? I have one mystery duck that I have been told is a hookbill, and it has totally black feet. It is mostly black with a slight olive sheen, and a slightly lighter belly. No bib. I thought the dusky color has yellow feet, and that the blacks are super rare if not gone. I see many interesting colors in these pictures, so I thought you were a good person to ask.I would love to see your Hookbills! I have Snowy, Black Bibbed, Chocolate Bibbed, Khaki, nutmeg mallard and mallard. Brace yourself for picture overload

To be clear, my duck is newly hatched, out of an egg that was supposed to be a Welsh Harlequin. All the others were. Then this little black duck popped out. :0Do any of your hookbills have totally black feet? Or did they at hatching?
