Dux Dumb or Bad Parenting?

Yes, I actually have more then 46 at the moment, but I'm saving back 46 as breeders.
I am an insane duck lover. Absolutely.
I had 150 ducks at one point earlier this year.
I lllllooooovvvveee ducks like tou can't even imagine!!!
I am a crazy duck lady and I am hopelessly addicted to ducks.

DUDE. How do you manage winter water? 150 chickens, I can do. Not ducks. Or do you live in a southern climate?

Ugh, managing their water in the winter is by no means an easy task.
Thankfully I only have that many ducks in the summer time when it's easier to water them and take care of them.
I don't live in the south, I live deep in the north. Have to deal with temps -30*F.

The most ducks I've had to deal with at one time during the winter was 9.
This winter I stepping off the deep end and I'm going to have the challenge of trying to keep the coop dry with 46 messy ducks!
Ooh, yikes! Won't be anywhere near easy I'm sure!

What kind of comments do you have on that @duluthralphie?
Btw, I know I'm crazy!

You're insane. I get similar temps, maybe a bit colder, and likewise, 9 was the most I've ever attempted. Even then, I swore then and there that I'd downsize!

I think the dux are pooping in the turkeys feed.

Where in the south do you live? I know it’s not up here in Gods country if -30 is your winter average...

If you can’t do 40 below your are a Dixie resident.

Of course, anyone with 46 dux is beyond help or redemption...

It is hard to believe a caring family member has not had you sent to Arkham ...
