Dwarf Chick?

Yep - me too. I had a little RIR that didn't eat much. Slept a lot under the heat lamp while the other nine were running around the brooder. Once in a while, the others would step on her or peck her a little and then she'd jump up.

I didn't think she was going to make it. At about 5-6 wks she started gaining in size and now she's bigger than the other RIR and two of the BO.

Well she is a red sexlink and she always has her head in the feed and water. They were inside our house until a week ago until they started getting there feathers. So I know she is eating and drinking I don't know if she has worms....I have 34 others and they all are fine, fat, and have feathers so I don't know if chickens can be dwarf but she almost died and came back full force just not growing!!! How do I check for worms? And how do I deworm? She is still plump like all the others though? I don't know she is really sweet though I would hate to lose her!!!!

i think to test for worms you have to take a stool sample to the vet. others here can probably answer that better than i could.
