Dwarfism in chickens?

Hi! So I have this chicken of about 4 months that his mom rejected and tried to kill, and we're raising separately. Mom and siblings are a smallish mix breed but they're still much bigger than her. She's so tiny that she fits in my palm and she's much calmer than other chickens her age, and a bit unstable with curly toes when resting. Is there any condition, disease or genetic, that might be related to this? Thanks in advance

Most will chalk it up to failure to thrive. Mom probably knew something was up with it and singled it out as animals tend to do with odd individuals. Could be a deficiency of some sort starting way back from when it hatched. Could be a genetic abnormality like dwarfism too but who knows? I’m doubtful it will live a normal life but you can try giving it extra vitamins and minerals.

I would link it to either a deficiency that cause her not to grow or failure to thrive like someone else mentioned. There is usually a reason for why they don't grow. How was her growth rate when she was young compared to the others? Was she on track/pace with the others then stopped or was she always lagging behind?
