Hey this is a really odd question so please bear with me.
I recently read that feeding hens dyed food makes their eggs have dyed yolks. (I would of course never do this to my flock for health reasons.)
But after reading about temporarily dyeing chicks with food coloring I couldn't help wondering if the chicks would be dyed because of the dyed yolk?
If so wouldn't this be faster for hatcheries (that are permitted to sell dyed chicks) than taking time to dye each egg (or chick)
I would appreciate any comments.
