Dying Baby chicks-sickness?

I ordered a batch of birds from cackle hatchery that arrrived on Wendsday. I spilt the order with somebody else and, from what I know, all are well. We started with seven, lost one the first night and lost two this night. The ones that died all had bad pasty butts that, whenever we cleared them, would come back. Temp is alright, giving them clean water and chick starter. Have I been handling/stressing them out ok too much from Constantine cleaning their pasty butts? Or is it some other disease? There are four left I don’t want them to die too.

Take a picture of the brooder setup. We need to see to guess at whether there may be a problem there.
