my mom recently put teenager chicks out in her pen. Three have died. Before one died she had bloody poop. She started treating them for Coccidiosis. What can she do?

Treat the whole flock for coccidiosis. Continue treating for that, following the directions carefully on the Corid bottle.

Clean litter after treatment to rid oocysts (coccidia "eggs").

Bloody poop and deaths means it has advanced pretty far, so you will need to remain consistent with treatment. Make up fresh water every day with the med.

Good luck. Sorry to hear your chicks are sick.

You can do the normal add Corid to their water treatment and you can also give them a direct dose straight to the beak.
Do you have the powder or liquid Corid or are you using something else?

Also....know that you will probably always need to keep Corid on hand for future chicks because the coccidia do not just disappear.

Coccidiosis video worth watching

She has the powder corrid
You can mix 1/2 teaspoon of the powder Corid with 2 teaspoons of water and direct dose each bird straight to the beak with .34 ml per each pound that they weigh.
So if the bird is one pound give them .34ml
2 pounds = .64 ml...

Give each bird this direct to beak dose for three days straight in addition to mixing 1.5 teaspoons of the powder Corid with a gallon of water.
Make a fresh batch each day.
