How do I dye my silkie? It's really cute and I really want to know how to do it.

Never done it myself but seen the tutorials...

You wanna wash the bird first. Fill up a small plastic storage bin or large soup pot with warm (not hot) water. Get all the dirt and gunk off. Then you can either A. Add food dye to anothet pot/bin of water and put her in there after she's been rinsed, or B. Rinse her, wait for her to dry and then use a tooth brush to "paint on" dyed water. You can control the colors with the second method better, so if you wanted to, say, make her tri color, you'd want to go with the toothbrush. It is more time consuming, though, I hear.

Thank you! I ended up using purple Kool-Aid to dye her it seemed to work pretty good!
