Do you have a light bulb you could use instead of the heat plate?

Can you get a picture of the poop?
Green poop is normal for their first poop but if it's continuing to be green then there might be a problem such as a bacterial infection somewhere.

I have a heat lamp but have never used it for heat. Not sure what bulb I would need?

They get nutridrench at first so poop is dark brown. Switched to water only yesterday. I’ll get a pic of some poo.

I use a regular old school light bulb...NOT a heat lamp.


I am not familiar with heat plates...maybe it's working maybe it's not.

I'd use a light bulb.

Yes...does get plenty warm enough.
I have already raised it higher so it's at 86 but under my light now.

I’m super new and just hatched this week, but I just wanted to add that I was planning to get a heat plate but found multiple threads with casualties from heat plates with quails because it isn't always close enough to warm them completely if the room wasn’t kept very warm also.
