E-coli in peacock?

Just got second batch of results on the sick and dying peafowl a friend purchased. A list of things but one that I was wondering about was the e-coli . Is this standard in peafowl or is that just added to the list of sickies the birds had ? The living conditions of where they came from is really bad ! My friend didn't know any better and was being thoughtful buying one for me. Poor dear. She's so upset about all this. If anyone lives in my area (Norco) feel free to contact me if you need any other info to make sure this seller is avoided. As I am sure nobody wants to purchase very ill birds and risk their flock.
