Eagle circling child holding gosling

You can put up string in an area and tell her to stay in that area with the gosling. A hawk and eagle will known the string is there and not attempt to fly in because they can't navigate through it. My friend does this with her run and she has eagles and Hawks living at her pond, they have babies every year and are quite beautiful. She's never lost one chicken or chick. I think she has her string set at 7 feet high... I'm actually doing this soon and putting strings of lights every other row for at night just for my own pleasure to eat outside.
 
We just set up a new area for them yesterday, it’s a good large areas and we covered the top with several lines of 2” chicken wire. My daughter can get in the pen (only with help) and spend some time with her gosling. So far it is working well!

That's awesome! Glad you found a solution! She's cute and so isn't the gosling!
